I am unhealthy enough to reclaim my glory days trying to go out and act, Damien Reaper as a haunt actor is in history, enough where i am proud not to step in the spotlight at a haunt. However what I can do is interview, do group round tables, characters telling their stories or even table reads. Trying to expand retired or active monstars and horror lovers. Actors bringing characters I have not played by me or beyond. Dungeons of Delhi, Dent Schoolhouse and MAUL i'm forever linked to.. And past and current monstars are important. Friends at MHC are connected with all of us and with myself GP_TV the social media streaming group has connects to me, and the haunt industry. Myself looking at the many many people not just businesses being a focus. I may be an old man now, But I want to help talent, actors and characters grow, In 2007ish when everyone had a myspace haunted profiles, that I saw everyone expanding exposer to haunted houses, as social media and content creators are today, everyone can be a "star" and tiktoks, Instagram ect Is no different, but many owners are saying no no you can't do profiles, pages, tiktoks at the attractions, with non compete contracts (Happy that is gone) and holding their talent from growing, they never think use their haunt to more than an attraction and be a multi-marketing media and production company, where they produce podcasts, films, and lore building, character (that actor owns and created) building. Why would I want to be a mascot for minimum wage, not have opportunity to grow as a creator and talent at a haunted house? When I can go on tiktok, do my make-up, act and access to make myself something. I look at the bigger picture to a greater future for haunting, To make sure we aren't a thing of the past. Sure Halloween Horror Night will always be around. But Pro, Charity, Yard ect Things not owned by billion dollar money generators like Disney. To keep actors, make-up artists, crew members, costume designers, music designers and so on, to look for opportunity in our teams locally and nationally. You may not see the diamonds in front of you, if you don't give someone under your umbrella, To create bigger opportunity for everyone.
